How do I register my Firearms with the Provost Marshal's office on Fort Eustis?

Before you can bring ANY firearms on post to fire on the POF Range, you will need to register your weapons (any you plan to bring to fire) with the PMO on post.  This is not a one day process, so do it well in advance of your planned trip.  The process may take anywhere between 5-10 days.  

1.  You'll need to complete the

• AF-1314 Firearms Registration - You will see that this form is more tailored for active duty personel, and it may be easier to put "SEE ATTACHMENT" and fill out the attachment below, because at the station, the police will also ask for the model and finish of the weapon, both of which are NOT on the AF1314, but are on the attachment we provide:
   
  • attachment for AF1314 with all fields required as a .pdf file
  • .xlsx version of the attachment if you'd like to fill out and print
• and DD2760 Qualification to Possess Firearms or Ammunition

2.  Then take those forms to the Base Defense Operations Center or BDOC (the police station) on Washington Ave.

3.  You will still need to attend a Range Safety class and receive the AF-IMT-483, Certificate of Competency, before you can shoot on the range.  Class dates and times will be posted on http://jbleforcesupport.com.

4.  You will also still need to purchase a Range Safety permit from the Outdoor Recreation, 828 Kells Drive, Fort Eustis, and sign a Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement.
